How To Get Started with Back in Stock
Video Transcription: Welcome to Back in Stock! We will now take you through the install process along with offers and further information to help you get started. Back in Stock will start by asking for permissions – it will then go through the setup routine and check your store’s theme. If we have a premade integration for your theme, it will automatically apply it. This will add a Back in Stock button onto your product page. If we do not have an integration available for your theme, you will want to use the floating button integration. This will add our widget onto the side of the product page. If you want a theme integration for your theme, just get in contact with us on email@example.com, and we would be happy to get one setup for you.
We will now create your first notification. Back in Stock will navigate you to an active stock product. You can take a look at the new button widget and then sign up for a notification once the product is restocked. Shopify emails will be sent out to your customers automatically. The notifications can be limited, so only so many SM per level of stock. For example, if you restock five of our product and have the notification rate set to 2, it will send out 10 vacations each day or hour depending on setting. You can also set a minimum inventory quantity before any notifications will send out. On the dashboard, you can see a quick overview of incoming and outgoing notifications. There is also a Most Wanted area – this will filter products with the most recent and sent notifications. More options can be found in the dashboard from email reports to app integrations. If you have any issues or questions just let us know!
